Auckland is New Zealand's largest, most cosmopolitan city with a population of about 1 million people.	It has everything that you would expect in a modern city - great restaurants, cafes, shops, theatres and cinemas	Auckland is very big. Ask for a homestay close to your school, or a short bus ride away.

It has a unique blend of cultures with influences from the Pacific, Asia and Europe.	Auckland is surrounded by water and beaches. It is famous for sailing and hosted the America's Cup.	Auckland has New Zealand's busiest airport. There are frequent shuttle bus services from the airport to town.
