The après ski atmosphere is fantastic as holiday makers enjoy superb food and the Queenstown ‘buzz’ with plenty of bars and restaurants after an exciting day on the slopes. Off the slopes there is an abundance of activities, inspiring scenery and warm hospitality which offer something special for everyone.

Queenstown is just as beautiful in Spring with warmer weather and longer days as the landscape takes on a new vibrancy. Enjoy the sunshine whether it be in the mountains, or by the lake. Spring skiing lasts for most of September, and depending on the season into early October then it’s time to swap the skis or board for a mountain bike or a hiking boots and explore Queenstown’s alpine area in all its spring glory.

Summer days in Queenstown are long and leisurely. The mid-summer sun rises as early as 5am and dusk rolls in around 10pm - leaving plenty of day-light hours to explore, or unwind. With an enviable alpine climate, daytime temperatures hover between 20 – 30C making it the perfect summer playground.

Fantastic settled weather and a spectacular backdrop of golds and reds awaits you in autumn. Take a walk through back-country trails on bike or by foot or race through shallow rivers on jetboats. Autumn is a great time to just relax and sit back, enjoying some of the area’s finest wine and delicious seasonal cuisine
